Improving Classroom Environment:  Strategies for Improved Classroom Management

Due to budgetary constraints districts in our area are not able to continue the ROE Induction and Mentoring Program this year.  However, as part of the Continuing Professional Growth Series, workshops offered to participants in their second year of the program will be offered again this year, but will have a fee attached to them.

The first of these workshops will be September 12, 2013, from 4 - 7 PM at SWIC Red Bud, Room 123.  The workshop will combine induction and mentoring topics with Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching.  The title is:  Improving Classroom Environment:  Strategies for Improved Classroom Management.   All teachers who completed their first year in the Induction and Mentoring Program are encouraged to attend as well as any brand new first-year teachers this fall.  The workshop will also be open to all classroom teachers, regardless of their years of experience.  The cost of the workshop is $25 and registration is required at www.educationregistration.org/roe45.  Registration deadlien is 1 week prior to the workshop.  Late registration will have a $15 additional charge.  Cancelations must be made 5 days prior to the workshop in order to qualify for a refund, or another person can be a substitute.  Call 618-939-5650 for questions or emai rgardner@roe45org.
